Bulgaria is a leader as far as being the first to privatize the incumbent-operator, and was a pioneer in creating mobile telephony and data services. Moreover, it was amongst the first on the continent to link to the Internet. Though fixed-line infrastructure demands extensive investment, the healthy mobile market has made certain that Internet distribution is substantially high.

By liberalizing and deregulating its telecom division, Bulgaria proved its strength in the sector. The privatization of Bulgaria Telecom, GT, in 1996 was the channel for outstanding productivity in market competition across the fixed-line, Internet, and mobile divisions. Modified international linkage together with the performance of national fibre optic backbone-networks by a number of players is continuing to revolutionize the country’s broadband market and open doors for the junction of technologies and services.

The government has made increasing efforts in the last few years to expand Internet availability via a network of public access channels and international connectivity has increased radically as a result. A fifth-submarine cable in 2013 has assisted with reducing the price of bandwidth to a tenth of what it was in 2007. Decreased prices have been passed to the consumer, with Bulgaria Telecom being one of a few operators who have invested in national networks to expand broadband availability extensively into rural areas.

Saver Plan
Customers should opt-in by texting SAVE to 2525 to be eligible to get the below special rates. Customer who did not opt-in will be charged at standard rates. Opt-in save promotional tariff is valid from 19-03-2015. Promotional tariff valid for 30 days from the Opt-in. Lycamobile reserve the right to amend or vary the terms of this promotion, or to withdraw this plan at any time on reasonable notice.
Sweden Plans
Lycamobile Sweden Plan (“the offer”) inclusive allowances are for calls and texts from the Sweden to standard Sweden landline (starting 01,02 or 03) and other Sweden mobile numbers, and for mobile internet usage in the Sweden. Other usage will be charged at standard rates. Allowances are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. 4G availability is subject to handset model and location. Calls are rounded up to the nearest minute for the purpose of calculating remaining allowances. A customer may have only one offer on their account and may not buy another during the 30 day validity period. Any remaining allowance after 30 days will not be carried over into the next 30 day period should the customer repurchase their bundle. In bundle data usage is rounded up and charged in 1KB increments. Once the data allowance of a bundle has been fully used, additional data usage will be charged at standard rate. Lycamobile reserves the right to replace or amend the offer or these Terms & Conditions or to withdraw the offer at any time on reasonable notice. Note that promotional credit (credit which Lycamobile has given to customers for free) cannot be used towards purchasing a bundle. The offer is for non-commercial, private, personal use only – Lycamobile reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the offer or to disconnect you if we suspect that offer is being used for commercial purposes, for conferencing, or if it is not being used in a handset (in a SIM box for example), if it is being used for tethering or if any reason Lycamobile reasonably suspects that you are not acting in accordance with this policy where we consider that the usage was illegitimate. All in One Bundle

Lycamobile All in One Bundle (‘the offer’) allowances are for calls and texts from the Sweden to standard Sweden landlines (starting 01, 02 or 03), other Sweden mobile numbers, standard international landline and mobile numbers and for data usage in the Sweden. Other usage will be charged at standard rates. Allowances are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Calls are rounded up to the nearest minute for the purpose of calculating remaining allowances. A customer may only have one offer on their account and may not buy another during the 30 day validity period. Any remaining allowance after 30 days will not be carried over into the next 30 day period should the customer renew their bundle. Lycamobile reserves the right to replace or amend the offer, these terms and conditions or to withdraw the offer at any time on reasonable notice.
